At St Paul’s we believe that a high quality French education should foster pupils’ curiosity and further their understanding of the world. Teaching enables pupils to express their ideas and thoughts in French and to understand and respond to speakers, both in speech and in writing.

Pupils study books written in French and learn how to respond to an authentic source. Accuracy is important, with pronunciation and intonation a particular focus.
